Second Light is an ongoing series of paintings exploring the encounter between natural and artificial light within interior spaces. Through recurring motifs of plants, windows, shadows and architectural fragments, the works examine how ordinary environments can shift into states of heightened perception. Plants emerge as silent protagonists, mediating between organic growth and constructed space, while reflections and shadows create parallel images that coexist with the visible world. Conceived as an open-ended body of work, Second Light returns repeatedly to the same motifs, allowing them to evolve and reappear in ever-changing configurations.
